Alpha Phi Alpha has believed for nearly a century that a voteless people is a hopeless people. Delta Xi Lambda acts on that belief in Central Florida, every election cycle, without exception.
Education, registration, and mobilization.
Through its Government Relations Committee and the I.S. Hankins–F.A. Johnson Education Foundation, Delta Xi Lambda has built one of the most active civic engagement programs in the chapter's history. We run voter registration drives, hold civic education forums, canvass communities, and have formally adopted a precinct in partnership with the Orange County Supervisor of Elections.
We encourage brothers and community members alike to make a plan to vote, engage with elected officials, and come together to address the issues that affect this community most directly.
